The Definition of Character Education

Character education involves teaching individuals about basic human values including honesty, kindness, generosity, courage, freedom, equality, and respect. The goal is to empower individuals to become morally responsible, self-disciplined citizens. Problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution are important parts of developing moral character. Through role playing and discussions, students can see that their decisions affect other people and things.

Every situation today that is plaguing individuals started with a refusal to deal with truth in its purest form. Not the half-truth, little white lies or truth by omission, fact is, if it is not clear and precise, it is a lie and you are a liar! The evidence that these terms even exist in our society is proof that people will avoid truth at whatever cost! Those who are aware that people have this issue are ok with it! It is ok because people have the right to choose but secondly and most importantly, it keeps everything running the way it should when it comes to society and the importance of order. This practice of avoidance has created a disease that is growing at an epidemic rate in the lives of people. It is causing most of our societal issues. It has taken families by the masses. LIES! is the root of it all! People are walking around in a dream world s/he has created for themselves.
